To meet the demands of Carmel’s west side, the Carmel Clay Public Library added a new branch in the Village of West Clay. This library is configured to offer a variety of services and serve patrons of all ages and is a gathering hub for the community.

The project converted an existing restaurant into a library branch. The scope consisted of two new additions to create a conservatory and a book drop area, and construction of a mezzanine inside the existing building for reading lofts and storage. The conservatory serves as a quiet space to read. The windows allow an abundance of natural light to shine through and can be opened during the summer months. During the winter months, you can sit next to the fireplace while catching up on your favorite book.
