Shelbyville Fire Station No. 1 | Shelbyville, IN
Located in a historic area of downtown Shelbyville, this steel-framed fire station includes four bays, supported by long-span, custom-engineered roof trusses. The new 21,300-square-foot building replaced an existing 1917 facility on the same site. To maintain uninterrupted services during construction, the fire department’s services were housed in a temporary structure; CE Solutions augmented the structural system of this temporary building to accommodate its change in use.
