Nathan Boltz, PE // Project Manager
In my role as Senior Project Manager, I work on a variety of projects, with two primary categories standing out: Repair and Restoration and Fast-Track Projects. Many of my Repair & Restoration projects are centered around concrete infrastructures. For example, I probably have walked over 20 miles within Purdue University’s utility tunnels, an experience that underscores the depth of my involvement. Fast-Track projects are often characterized by steel-frame construction. Their rapid pace and inherent challenges allow me to grow as both a design engineer and a project manager.
My motivation for pursuing this profession is rooted in my identity as a Boilermaker and my current residency in West Lafayette. The opportunity to be part of the R&R work and new construction projects at Purdue University resonates deeply with my local community, allowing me to make a direct impact.
CE Solutions provides a fun and collaborative culture and is one of the reasons I love working here. It truly feels like everyone is on the same team. I also like the wide variety of project types, from R&R to assessing structural conditions to designing structural systems for new builds. This variety challenges me and is very rewarding. And, finally, the chance to directly partner with a wide range of people such as owners, contractors, and other design professionals adds another layer of collaboration that I find crucial to helping our clients.
